Born in Osaka, Japan, Fumie's photo journey began with family. Using an old camera owned by her grandfather, she took her first photography class in high school where she lived and thrived in the darkroom. From there, her creativity grew as she studied digital arts in Osaka, later moving to the United States in 2005 to grow her photography career. Today, Fumie is a lifestyle and fashion photographer based in New York City, who enjoys highlighting the joy, warmth, and fun that comes with creating imagery. On set she is a positive force of energy, love, respect and most importantly, fun.
